The monthly Cram-A-Cruiser event continues to support Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank.

On Sunday, March 27, 2022, Cobourg Police Service hosted a Cram-A-Cruiser food drive at David’s No Frills in Cobourg to support Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank.

All the donations received during Cram-A-Cruiser go to the Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank (Fare Share) who, in turn, distributes the food to those in need across Northumberland County.

The community helped fill police vehicles with non-perishable food items, and Fare Share volunteers worked to transfer the food from the event to the food bank throughout the day.

Our generous community helped Cobourg Police Service collect 2,561 pounds of food and $958.50 in monetary donations this month.

Thank you to all who helped raise awareness about the event and to everyone who donated.

The next Cram-A-Cruiser will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Metro (Cobourg) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
