Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested on Warrant

A woman has been arrested on a warrant held by the Cobourg Police Service.

On January 9, 2022, officers with the Toronto Police Service arrested a woman wanted on a warrant held by the Cobourg Police Service.

As a result, Amanda Munro (24) of Toronto is charged with the following offences:

1. 2 X Unauthorized use of a credit card contrary to Section 342(1) of the Criminal Code

2. Fraudulent use of a credit card contrary to Section 342(3) of the Criminal Code

3. 2 X Theft under $5000 contrary to Section 334(b) of the Criminal Code

4. 4 X Possession of Property obtained by crime under $5000 contrary to Section 355(b) of the Criminal Code

5. 2 X Fail to Attend Court with Appearance Notice contrary to Section 145(3) of the Criminal Code

6. 2 X Fail to Attend Court contrary to Section 145(2)(b) of the Criminal Code

Munro was held in custody pending a show cause hearing.
