HKPR District Health Unit – COVID-19 Outbreak at Warkworth Institution

The HKPR District Health Unit declared a COVID-19 outbreak at Warkworth Institution on Tuesday, December 21.

Currently, there are 19 cases associated with the outbreak.

Preliminary screening of one of the confirmed cases indicates the Omicron variant. As a result, the Health Unit is treating this as an outbreak of the Omicron variant and is working with the outbreak team at Warkworth to implement outbreak control measures.
