No Release from Cobourg Police Regarding Weekend Collision

Today’s Northumberland has been endeavouring to get an update regarding an incident that happened early Saturday, November 27, 2021.

A pedestrian was struck on King Street East, just east of Coverdale Avenue at approximately 1:20 a.m.

Emergency services attended the scene. The person was rushed to hospital and flown by air ambulance to a Toronto trauma centre.

King Street East in the area of the collision was closed until approximately 2 p.m. while OPP Technical Collision Investigators examined the scene.

Numerous people have contacted Today’s Northumberland regarding an update.

Despite the best efforts of Today’s Northumberland, Cobourg Police has not issued any release regarding this incident.
