Royal Marines Association of Ontario Holds Remembrance Service in Cobourg

Royal Marines veterans from across Ontario came to Cobourg for a Remembrance service at the cenotaph in Victoria Park shortly before 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

Royal Marines Association of Ontario annually holds there Remembrance Service in Cobourg along with members of the Concert Band of Cobourg which is also known as the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marine Association Ontario.

The Royal Marines from across Ontario have traditionally held Remembrance ceremonies in Cobourg the Sunday before Remembrance Day.

Traditionally after the brief service the parade marches to St. Peters Anglican Church which is the garrison church of the Royal Marines.

It’s the first Remembrance service since 2019.
