Driver Uninjured After Transport Goes In Ditch East of Port Hope on Highway 401

A transport driver was uninjured after his big rig went in the ditch on Highway 401 east of Port Hope on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

At approximately 9:15 p.m. a transport travelling eastbound, east of Port Hope went into the ditch just east of Hamilton Road.

The driver may have suffered from a medical condition and was treated by paramedics at the scene and released.

A heavy-tow was called to remove the cab and trailer from the ditch.
