Community Comes Through for Cobourg Public Library

In Community, Local

The Cobourg Public Library is proud to announce that more than $8,000 was successfully raised during their ‘Loonie for the Library’ campaign thanks to the generosity of our community.

The campaign launched in July and ran for four months. Fundraising events included: weekly book and cookie sales over the summer, book sales at the Cobourg Farmer’s Market; matching funds; donation jars at various local businesses; silent auction and our envelope fundraising wall display.

All donated funds will go directly towards the collection – a fundamental way the Library impacts the community.

“The library is extremely grateful for the generosity and support of our community members and local businesses.”
– Tammy Robinson, CEO

If you’re interested in continuing to support the Library you can visit the Library’s Canada Helps page to easily donate online.
