Wakely Scores First OHL Goal

Port Hope’s Dalyn Wakely scored his first Ontario Hockey League goal for the North Bay Battalion on Sunday afternoon.

Wakely, a second round draft pick in the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, scored the second Battalion goal in a 6-4 victory over the Barrie Colts.

North Bay is 3-2-0-0 to start the season. Wakely recorded his first OHL point with an assist in a win over the Sudbury Wolves on Oct. 11.

Wakely and the Battalion will travel to Peterborough to play the Petes on Thursday, Nov. 4. Game time is 7:05 p.m. at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.
