CN Rail Signal Malfunction Cobourg

A railway signal malfunctioned on Brook Road North in Cobourg on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Cobourg Police said they were informed the signal effecting the railway signal facing southbound malfunctioned and stayed in the down position around 7 p.m.

Some vehicles did turn around while others stopped, then proceeded across the railway tracks.

CN Rail arrived at approximately 9 p.m. and fixed the problem within minutes.
