No Serious Injuries As A Result of Highway 401 Collision

A two-vehicle collision tied up traffic on the westbound lanes of Highway 401 just east of the Hamilton Road overpass on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

The collision happened while the highway was down to two lanes for construction at approximately 1:45 p.m. east of Port Hope.

There were no serious injuries following the collision.

Also it is illegal and dangerous to pass an emergency vehicle with emergency lights activated travelling to an emergency on Highway 401.

The fine is $490 and three demerit points.
