City of Kawartha Lakes OPP – Fatal Collision North of Lindsay

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are on scene investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision on Highway 35 north of Lindsay.

The single motor vehicle roll over occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. this morning. Highway 35 will remain closed for several hours while police investigate. Detours are in place at Naylor Road and Long Beach Road in Cameron. 

The name of the deceased driver will not be released until next of kin has been notified. A passenger was also tra nsported to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are asking any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police regarding this incident to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
