Fencing Comes Down at Victoria Beach in Cobourg

In Editor Choice, Local

Town of Cobourg Parks Department staff were at Victoria Beach bright and early on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 removing the fence from along the boardwalk.

The fence has been along the boardwalk for several months due to COVID-19 and restrictions at the beach, but through a motion by Cobourg Council the fence which is approximately 1,800 feet long was removed on Tuesday morning.

A number of walkers and campers commented how happy they were including a number of people taking photos of the event.
