Cobourg Police Mischief Arrest

On Friday, July 23, 2021, police were dispatched to a business in the downtown core of Cobourg. Police
attended and spoke with complainants who advised a man who lived in a unit above the business had
damaged their property.


As a result of police investigation, Erik Gale, a 24-year-old man from the Town of Cobourg, was arrested and
charged with the following offence:

Mischief – Contrary to Section 430(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada

Gale was released on undertaking with a future court date.
