Road Closure Announced for Pedestrian Friendly Walkway in Cobourg

In Local, Upcoming Events

By Cecilia Nasmith/Today’s Northumberland

A couple of downtown road closures are coming up this weekend, as the Town of Cobourg welcomes back the Pedestrian Friendly Walkway event on Saturday.

From 7 p.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Sunday, Second Street will be closed, as will King Street between Spring and Division. As well, Albert Street (between Hibernia and Third) remains closed due to road-rehabilitation work.

Delays should be expected in these areas, and the town thanks everyone for their patience and understanding.

If you have questions or concerns, contact the engineering department at 905-372-4555.
