By Cecilia Nasmith/Today’s Northumberland

The annual Cobourg Marina Boat Lift-In, which was delayed by provincial closures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, will proceed June 3 to 6, and the town announces some adjustments that will take place to parking and transit to accommodate the operation.

Cobourg Transit – On June 3 and 4, there will be slight detours on Cobourg Transit routes, though no stops will be missed.

Parking lots – There will be closure of the parking lots at Division Street South, The Esplanade East, The Esplanade West and at the Cobourg Marina.

Street closures – There will be four street closures: The Esplanade between Division and Third streets, Third Street between Hibernia and the The Esplanade, Hibernia Street south of Third, and Division Street south of The Esplanade (including the East Pier).

The Town of Cobourg and marina staff thank you for your patience and consideration while the boats are put into the lake for the upcoming season.
