Victoria Beach in Cobourg Open for Visitors – Through the Week

In Community, Local, Weather

Victoria Beach was open bright and early on Monday, May 31, 2021 in Cobourg.

While a machine was grading the sand, town staff were installing the signs along the openings of the fence along the boardwalk in Cobourg.

Victoria Beach is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and closed on weekends and holidays.

There are portable washrooms on the beach and the capacity for the beach is a maximum of 1,200 people which will be monitored by bylaw-enforcement along with Cobourg Police.

Nearby a child seemed like he wanted to be the first to use the waterpark, but town staff were clearing out the sand and preparing it for opening.

The anticipated opening of the waterpark is June 15, but depending how things go it may open earlier.
