Cobourg Police – Man Arrested on Warrant

A man has been arrested on a warrant after being observed in the downtown area.
On the evening of April 17, 2021, police responded to a business in the downtown area for a report of an
unwanted person. Officers recognized the man who was known to be wanted on a warrant held by the
Cobourg Police Service.
As a result of police investigation, 26-year-old Bryson Dam of Cobourg was arrested on the warrant and is
charged with the following offence:

Possession of Property obtained by crime contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal Code

Fail to Comply with conditions of Summons contrary to section 145(3) of the Criminal Code

Fail to Attend Court contrary to section 145(2)(b) of the Criminal Code


The accused was released on an Appearance Notice with a future court date.
