Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Downtown Cobourg

One person was rushed to hospital after being struck by a van in downtown Cobourg on Thursday, April 8, 2021.


At approximately 3 p.m. emergency services attended the scene of King Street East and Division Street.

A person was crossing on King Street East when they were struck by a southbound van travelling on Division Street that was turning left onto King Street East when the collision happened.


It’s unknown the condition of the pedestrian that was struck.


King Street East was closed while police conducted their investigation.


There is no word on charges.

Editor’s Note:In the video you will see a paramedic vehicle travelling eastbound on King Street to attend the scene. Two vehicles heading west not only fail to pull over or even attempt to stop for the emergency vehicle.
