Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested on Warrant

On February 18, 2021, a woman with an outstanding warrant held with Belleville Police Service attended the Cobourg Police Station. Police confirmed the warrant, and she was placed in custody.
Amanda Salzman, a 27-year-old from the Town of Cobourg, was charged with the following offences:
1. Fail to attend court contrary to section 145(4)(b) Criminal Code of Canada
2. Theft Under $5000 contrary to section 334(b) Criminal Code of Canada

The warrant was endorsed for her release. Salzman was issued undertakings with a future court date in Belleville.
