East Pier in Cobourg will be Temporarily Accessed for Engineering Company

The Town of Cobourg would like to advise residents that certain sections of the East Pier will be temporarily accessed for an engineering company to further investigate remediation plans and previous repairs on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

Beginning tomorrow at 10 a.m. Riggs Engineering will be utilizing equipment on the East Pier to review inspection sites and should be finished by the afternoon. Town staff will be present to ensure pedestrians maintain a safe distance from the test holes.

The Town would like to remind residents that the East Pier is still closed and to please exercise caution.
