Peterborough County OPP – Theft of All-Terrain Vehicle from Havelock Residence

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called on October 8, 2020 to investigate the theft of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) from a residence on County Road 30.

The theft occurred on October 8, 2020 at approximately 2:00am. The suspect stole a white 2017 Polaris RZR 1000 side by side ATV (See attached photo) bearing Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 3NSVGE999JF403055 and Ontario marker 4JM21 at the time of the theft.

The suspect was arrested on October 30, 2020 but the ATV is still outstanding.

John PERDUE (age 37) of Peterborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Theft over $5000 of a motor vehicle
Break, enter a dwelling house with intent to commit an indictable offence
Fail to comply with probation order

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on December 10, 2020.
