Murdoch Mysteries Filming In Cobourg – Again

In Local

Murdoch Mysteries is in Cobourg filming once again.

The popular series has used Cobourg and surrounding area regularly for filming.

This time, filming is taking place at a private residence in the east end of Cobourg.

A number of vehicles are set up on Dodge Street for cast and crew.

Town of Cobourg communications manager Ashley Purdy said there are 80 members of the cast and crew taking part in filming, but not all at once.

“The Town’s practice is to issue out notices to the community in respect to filming companies when there are road closures, detours or a potential impact on local businesses that come along with the production company. In this case, Murdoch Mysteries are filming at a private residence with no closures or notable impact on businesses.”

“In regards to safety protocol in light of Covid-19 an extensive and thorough plan was submitted to the Town of Cobourg’s Community Events Committee who reviewed and approved it.”
