Rebound Youth Services Announces Expansion of the Collaborative 12 and Under Intervention Program

In Community, Local

Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland (Rebound) is announcing the expansion of its Collaborative 12 and Under Intervention Program (CUIP) to include a new integrated service delivery process and the roll out of a program-wide rebrand.

Formerly known as the Cobourg Under 12 Intersectoral Partnership program, CUIP was developed through a pilot project which ran in Cobourg, and now with generous funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, will be expanding to serve children and families throughout all of Northumberland County. This expansion will help streamline integrated service to ensure the unique needs of clients and families are acknowledged and met. In addition, Rebound’s team is growing to accommodate the changes and support the expanded service area.

“This expansion couldn’t be timelier,” said Carol Beauchamp, Executive Director of Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland. “While we are all being impacted in some way by COVID-19, significant issues such as mental health, poverty, and domestic violence are putting pressures on vulnerable children, youth, and families throughout Northumberland County.”

Rebound decided to celebrate the expansion of the CUIP program with a new logo designed to reflect the program’s purpose and to emphasize the collaboration between community partners.

“Designing a new logo seemed natural and very fitting,” said Julia Wood, Program Manager at Rebound Child & Youth Services Northumberland. “We have incorporated the colour orange into our branding as it is a visual representation of determination, success, and joy. This is very much what the CUIP program aspires to, and we’re proud to be spreading that message.”
