Cobourg Police – Suspect Faces Mischief Charges in Relation to Graffiti

The Cobourg Police Service became aware of a male claiming responsibility for numerous incidents of graffiti throughout the town of Cobourg.

Officers undertook the investigation and the male was identified.

Scenes of Crime officers documented and photographed graffiti attributed to this male. On Tuesday, September 1st, 2020, the accused was located and arrested.

36-year old Michael Chauncey BROWN of Cobourg was arrested and charged with eight counts of:

Mischief – destroys or damages property – contrary to section 430(1)(a)

The accused was released from custody on an undertaking with conditions and was issued a date to appear in court in October of 2020.
