Quinte West OPP – Break and Enter Investigation at Church

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a break and enter that occurred at a church on Wallbridge Loyalist Road in the City of Quinte West.

On August 20, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. officers were dispatched to the location for the report of a broken window. Further investigation revealed that entry had been made into the church, with several items damaged and stole n.

The break and enter occurred during the overnight hours between August 19 and 20, 2020. Electronics, including the security cameras, were reported stolen. The OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) Unit attended the scene to assist with the investigation.

The Quinte West OPP is looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for this crime. Any person with information that could help identify the suspect(s), or otherwise assist with the investigation should contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
