Durham Regional Police – Dirt Bikes Collide Head-On In Ganaraska Forest

On Saturday, August 15, 2020 at approximately 3:15 p.m., East Division officers were flagged down by paramedics after two dirt bikes collided head-on on a trail in the Ganaraska Forest in Clarington.

The collision occurred near Boundary Road and Cold Springs Camp Road and involved a 14-year-old male from Toronto and a 19-year-old male from Cobourg. The 14-year-old was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with multiple serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The 19-year-old male was taken to Lakeridge Health – Bowmanville with multiple, serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
