Smoke could be seen from Cobourg from the pickup truck fire on McBride Road just west of County Road 18, north of Cold Springs.

Hamilton Township Fire Department received the call at 4:13 p.m. of the vehicle fire.<

Occupants of the truck said they were travelling west when smoke started coming from the dash area of the 2015 pickup.

By the time they pulled over, the smoke from the fire had got much worse inside the cab. The driver tried to put the vehicle into park, before exiting the vehicle.
