Cobourg Public Library Provides Community Computer Lab

In Upcoming Events

Cobourg Public Library patrons can now access a community computer lab set up specifically with pandemic safety in mind.

Patrons can attend to sign up on a first-come, first-served basis at the West doors of the building (near the chess tables) to sign up in-person for a 45-minute or 15-minute session that allows them access to Wi-Fi, a computer, printing and scanning.

All patrons must sanitize their hands before entering masks must be worn inside the building. Staff will be cleaning the stations before and after each person enters and leaves and the rest of the Library will be off-limits.

“Opening the lab will provide the opportunity for anyone without access to a computer or printer/scanner to use them here. Our Library is a resource to so many and in these times, it is our mission to be here for them as best we can.” says Tammy Robinson, CEO.

For more information on the Cobourg Public Library, please visit their website www.cobourg.library.on.ca or find them on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
