Quinte West OPP – Arrest Made in Trenton

(Quinte West, ON) – On Saturday June 27, 2020, at approximately 1:30 p.m. Quinte West officers were called to an address on Campbell Street in Trenton.

It was reported that a male attempted to steal a motor vehicle at that location.

After a short verbal altercation with the owner of the motor vehicle, the individual removed some of his clothing and left the scene on foot.

Police arrested a suspect on John Street in Trenton.

Kyle SHOWERS, age 32 of Tweed, has been charged with:
Theft under $5000
Theft Over $5000
Indecent Exhibition

The accused was held in custody and was scheduled to appear by video in bail court on June 28, 2020.
