Number of Infractions Handed Out On Sunday In Cobourg Including Defecating In Victoria Park and Dogs On Beach

Cobourg Police and By-Law officers handed out a number of infractions on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Victoria beach and in the park.

By approximately 2 p.m. two people were fined for having a dog on the beach and one person was fined for defecating in the park.

A number of warnings were also issued for riding bicycles along the boardwalk and having tents on the beach.

A by-law officer advised people bringing a large inflatable float that with the strong off-shore breeze

The fine for having a dog on the beach is $105 and the fine for defecating in the park is $250.
