Northumberland County – Bag Tags Now Available for Purchase Online

In City Hall

In order to increase availability of online services and further promote physical distancing, Northumberland County is making garbage bag tags available for purchase directly through the County website for home delivery. Launched today, residents can now purchase tags at Northumberland.ca/BagTags.

“Through the SmartNorthumberland initiative, Northumberland County continues to assess opportunities for digital service delivery to respond to resident needs with accessible, always-available online options,” states Director of Transportation, Waste and Facilities Mo Pannu. “With residents focused on physical distancing during COVID-19, we are pleased to deliver this secure and convenient online option for those who wish to purchase bag tags from the comfort of their own home.”

Bag tags are available online in blocks of 10 for $37.50, with a $2.00 shipping and handling fee per order. Tags also continue to be available for sale at over 40 locations throughout Northumberland. For a list of locations, visit Northumberland.ca/BagTags.
