Adult female arrested for failing to comply with her court-imposed conditions after police conducted a traffic stop.
On the 1st of May 2020 at approximately 12:55 pm, police on patrol observed a woman driving a vehicle in contravention of her court-imposed conditions. Police conducted a traffic stop and the woman was arrested.
39-Year-old Laura Bould of Havelock is charged with the following offences:
1. Operation while prohibited, contrary to section 320.18(1) of the Criminal Code
2. Fail to comply with undertaking, contrary to section 145(4)(a) of the Criminal Code
3. Fail to Comply with Probation, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
4. Use plate not authorized for vehicle, contrary to section 12(1)(d) of the Highway Traffic Act
5. Fail to apply for permit upon becoming owner, contrary to section 11(2) of the highway Traffic Act
6. Fail to surrender permit, contrary to section 7(5)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act
7. Drive motor vehicle with liquor readily available, contrary to section 32(1) of the liquor Licence Act
8. Having liquor in open container other than licensed premises, contrary to section 31(2) of the Liquor Licence Act
9. Owner operate motor vehicle no insurance, contrary to section 2(1))a) of the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.
Bould was released from custody on an Undertaking with conditions to a future court date.
