Update – Northumberland OPP – Driver Airlifted Following Collision Suffered Minor Injuries

On April 27 2020, at approximately 12:52 PM members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a commercial motor vehicle and a car. The collision occurred at the intersection of County Rd 10 and Ganaraska Rd in Port Hope. The driver of the car was air lifted to a trauma center in Toronto for further treatment.

OPP Central Region Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) attended the scene and conducted an investigation.

The driver of the commercial motor vehicle wasn’t injured in the collision.  The driver of the vehicle was airlifted from Northumberland Hills Hospital to a trauma centre in Toronto.  Northumberland OPP report the driver received minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
