Emergency Services Come Together In Cobourg To Honour Victims of Shooting In Nova Scotia

It was an emotional tribute to the victims of Nova Scotia in Cobourg on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

Each evening at 7:30 p.m. people have come out of their homes banging pots and pans or anything that makes noise to honour and support front line emergency workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

But on this night, the convoy of emergency vehicles were for the 22 victims of the shooting that started on Saturday, April 18 in Nova Scotia.

Members of the Cobourg Fire Department, Northumberland County Paramedics and a long line of vehicles from the Cobourg Police Service started at Wilkins Gate in Cobourg’s went end and the procession of emergency vehicles wound through the subdivisions of New Amherst and West Park Village.
