Cobourg Police Service Putting Shoppers At Ease

In Local

Members of the Cobourg Police Service regularly patrol areas grocery stores over the last several weeks.

Police Chief Paul VandeGraaf said the service has received complaints about social distancing and this is a proactive measure aimed at making everyone feel safe.

The service is reminding people about social distancing, but not issuing any offences (tickets) as there is no social distancing by-law in town.
