Easter Dinner Interrupted After Vehicle Lands On Front Lawn In Cramahe Township

In Police Blotter

One person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a single vehicle rollover in Cramahe Township on Sunday, April 12, 2020.

Emergency services were dispatched at approximately 6:30 p.m. to County Road 2 at Town Line Road just west of Colborne.

A vehicle travelling westbound lost control and went into the ditch rolling over numerous times before coming to rest upright.

A family was just sitting down to their Easter dinner when they heard the crash. After rushing to the front of their home they saw a cloud of dust and a vehicle on their front lawn.

The single occupant of the vehicle extricated himself from the wreckage and was taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.

The corner has been the site of several collision over the years.

Investigation is continuing.
