Alnwick/Haldimand Township Firefighters Face Wall of Flame at Field Fire

Alnwick/Haldimand Fire Department responded to a field fire south of Alderville First Nation on Monday, April 6, 2020.

The cause of the fire was unknown but smoke could be seen on County Road 45 as the fire burned behind a home on Rae Lane at approximately 4 p.m.

Firefighters used, brooms, waterpacks and a leaf blower, which literally blows out the flames along the perimeter of the fire.
