Memorable Birthday for Cobourg Youth During COVID-19 Crisis

In Editor Choice, Local, Photo Gallery

Violette Quin celebrated her ninth birthday in one she will remember.

Since COVID-19 tried to take the fun away from birthday celebrations, the spirit of people shines through in a new way.

Friends, family, Cobourg Police, Cobourg Fire Department, the Lions Club, teachers from Burnham School who teach Violette and even the midwife who delivered Violette drove by her Carlisle Street home in Cobourg on Sunday, April 5, 2020 to wish her a happy birthday.

Standing outside were mom Shelley, Violette and her sister Willow (age 6).
