City of Kawartha Lakes OPP – Tools Stolen

(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – On March 9, 2020 an officer from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call pertaining to the theft of $10 000-$20 000 worth of tools.

The officer attended a residence on Snug Harbour Road after the contractor arrived and discovered that the trailer containing all of the tools had been broken into. The trailer had been locked at the end of the day on March 5, 2020.

The tools stolen include Stihl chainsaws, Milwaukee dr ills and saws, a Milwaukee battery charger with 15 batteries, a Bosch jack hammer and a Dewalt air compressor.

Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going to stopcrimehere.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
