Northumberland OPP – Two Arrested in Series of Break and Enters in Northumberland and Peterborough County

On January 9, 2020 members of the Peterborough/Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Units (CSCU) arrested and charged two people in relation to a series of break and enters that occurred in Peterborough and Northumberland County spanning from the December 2019 until January 7, 2020.

Jennifer BRIDGES (age 39) of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen, has been charged with the following criminal offences:
Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offences
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
Possession of a Schedule 1 substance – methamphetamine
Fail to comply with probation order
Possession of break in instruments

Jeremy RICHARDSON (age 39) of Trent Hills, has been charged with the following criminal offences:
Break, Enter a dwelling house with intent to commit indictable offences
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
Failure to comply with undertaking (police release)
Possession of break in instruments

Both accused parties remain in custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on January 13, 2020.
