Tyendinaga Man Clocked At 171 KPH Along Highway 401 By Port Hope

A 22-year-old Tyendinaga man had his vehicle seized after being clocked at 171 kph while travelling in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 by Port Hope.

A Northumberland OPP officer was monitoring speeds along the highway by the Wesleyville overpass when the passed going eastbound.

The vehicle was stopped and the vehicle was impounded for seven days along with the drivers license suspended for seven days and he also was given a summons for court.
