Broken Water Pipe Causes Damage To Building In Downtown Cobourg

Members of the Cobourg Fire Department were dispatched to a large amount of water coming from a building on King Street West in Cobourg on Sunday, December 22, 2019.

Crews were dispatched at approximately 1 p.m. and when they arrived it was quickly determined a pipe had burst inside the door leading to apartments above 80 King Street West.

Firefighters had to break into a neighbouring business to shut the water pipe off.

No word on damage.
