Survey Says – Transition House Wants To Hear From You

In Local

A online survey states Transition House is in the process of creating a new strategic plan.

The survey is titled, “Transition House Coalition of Northumberland – Strategic Planning” which indicates who may be providing the survey.

Transition House is Northumberland County’s only homeless emergency shelter.

It says on Transition House website, “we provide safe, dignified and supportive temporary housing, life skills and transitional support services to men and women over the age of 18 from Cobourg, Port Hope, Grafton, Colborne, Campbellford, Brighton, Hamilton Township, and Alderville. Our service area includes all of Northumberland County.”

The site offering the survey is called surveymonkey.ca and states it will take 5-10 minutes to complete the survey but it usually takes much less time.

There is only one area on the main page of the survey that gives any indication who is offering the survey.

“Transition House is in the process of creating a new Strategic Plan and we need your help,” states the site of the survey.

“The following strategic planning survey is an opportunity for you to have your ideas, thoughts and opinions including in the plan.”

The survey is open to anyone and the questions are multiple choice.

It states the survey is anonymous and is being conducted by a third party, that will provide to “us” as grouped data.

It’s believed the survey came out on Friday, October 25, 2019 but there has been no confirmation at this point.
