Burnt Hot Dogs Cause of Smoke In Building

Cobourg Fire Department and other emergency services were called to 291 King Street West on Friday, October 11, 2019 for reports of smoke in the hallway at 10:15 p.m.

When crews arrived the apartment building was evacuated and the fire alarm was sounding. Fire officials quickly determined there was no fire, and the cause of the smoke was burnt hot dogs.

There was no damage from the incident.
