The Municipality of Cramahe Township is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Sadler as Senior Planner.

“We welcome Heather’s professional expertise and leadership to Cramahe Township,” Mayor Mandy Martin says. “Heather has a depth of well-respected knowledge, not only at the municipal government level, but also at county and provincial levels.”

Since January 2019, Ms. Sadler has been Consulting Planner to the Township.

“I am excited to be in Cramahe Township, full time,” Ms. Sadler says. “I look forward to contributing to the municipality’s continued development as a vibrant and sustainable rural community.”

Prior to joining Cramahe, Heather was the Principal at EcoVue Consulting Services Inc., a planning and development consultancy, based in Peterborough. Her experience with municipal planning included previous positions as Area Planner at the County of Victoria, Planning Coordinator for the Township of Cavan Monaghan, and Manager of Planning and Regulations at Otonabee Conservation. Since founding EcoVue in 2006, Heather has assisted local municipalities as Senior Planner of Record for the Townships of Otonabee-South Monaghan, Ramara, Brock, and Cramahe.

Heather Sadler is a Registered Professional Planner in the Province of Ontario, with more than thirty (30) years of experience in land use planning and development in both the public and private sectors. Heather has specialized in rural and small community planning throughout her career.

Heather and her partner moved from Peterborough to Norham in 2017 where they are restoring a 1929 farm house and tending to extensive vegetable and flower gardens. She has two grown daughters.
