The Keys To Our Town Back In Cobourg

In Community, Local

It appears there is another season of “The Keys To Our Town” in Cobourg.

Two pianos have been set up at the south east corner of King Street East and McGill Street and also in front of Victoria Hall.

The piano in King and McGill is done by greater Toronto residents (youth) currently residing at Brookside Youth Centre in Cobourg.

“Youth From Different Places and Different Cultures” is painted on the front of the piano. All around the sides of the piano are various paintings of Toronto including a TTC street car and the CN Tower.

The piano in front of Victoria Hall is done by members of Art Gallery Northumberland Youth Council and is called, “Reinventing Consumption.”

The piano is entirely painted in pink, including the keys and has various objects glued to it.
