Quinte West OPP – Cobourg Driver Arrested for Impaired Driving

On Tuesday May 28, 2019 at approximately 10:15 p.m. officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Old Highway 2 in the City of Quinte West to check driver’s sobriety.

The driver, Stephanie NEVILLE, 22 years old of Cobourg was arrested and charged with:

• Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drug

• Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on June 13, 2019 in the city of Belleville.

The accused’s driver licence has been suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

If you suspect a driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, immediately call 911 to report it; the life you save may be your own.
