Northumberland OPP – ATV Rider Charged With Impaired Driving

On Sunday May 26, 2019 shortly before 5:00 am members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) collision on Merrill Road in Alnwick-Haldimand Township.

Brenden ANDREWS (age) 21 of Oshawa, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  •  Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

 

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on July 10, 2019. He was transported to a local area hospital to be treated for his injuries.
