Quinte West OPP – Fentanyl/Cocaine Trafficking Charges

On May 16, 2019 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) – Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the Belleville Police Service and the OPP Emergency Response Team conducted six Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrants in the Quinte area, targeting the sale and distribution of illicit fentanyl and cocaine.

Investigators seized a large quantity of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, prescription opioids and Canadian currency valued at over $100,000.

John GLOUSHER, aged 63 and Chelsie GEIB, aged 41, both of Quinte West, Ontario were both arrested and jointly charged with:
Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking- C.D.S.A. Section 5(2)
Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (opioids) for the purpose of trafficking- C.D.S.A. Section 5(2)
Possession of property obtained by crime in Canada under 5000$ – CC Section 354(1)(A)

Russell LOCKLIN, aged 43 and Mirjana CELAP, aged 40, both from Belleville, Ontario are charged with:
Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 (Cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking- C.D.S.A. Section 5(2)
Possession of property obtained by crime in Canada under 5000$ -CC Section 354(1)(A)

The investigation is still ongoing, with an arrest warrant issued for a 37-year old woman.
All of the accused were held for a bail hearing and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on today’s date.
