It was a beautiful day for the Oshawa Competition Motorcycle Club’s weekly ice racing on Rice Lake on Saturday, January 26, 2019. The event took place just off Golden Beach Resort on Rice Lake north of Cobourg on Saturday. Throughout the day races took place on a Grand Prix style track along with a oval track. Special metal studs on the wheels of the motorcycle gives exceptional grip along the ice. Speeds along the straightaway reached upwards of 75 mph. Ages taking part were five-year-old and up and the excitement continues on Sunday. Free admission.
